Not done yet!

Okay, so it's been way ,way, way too long since I last wrote on this blog.  Life has been pretty crazy. So many ups and downs and twists and turns over the past 2 years!

I absolutely love having Stephen back home again! I love that kid more than I can express.  He is so passionate, smart, funny, and so driven!  His mission was truly a life changing experience for him.  The Lord knows him so well.  He sent him to the exact mission that he was meant to serve in with a mission president that seems to have been hand picked for him!  Through him he was able to take all of Stephen's many talents and all of his potential and refine the person that he has the ability to become!  It is truly amazing!  I am excited to watch him as his life unfolds each day.  He touches lives around him every day.  I know he will go far in life and be successful at whatever he chooses to do.  He is ready to take on life at 20 years of age!  He has always been much more mature for his age than many of his peers.  He has a very special friend who is about to come from her mission tomorrow.  It will be fun to see how things have changed and if they develop into something permanent.  She is an amazing girl and we love her so much.

But here I am again, at this strange place as I now have one more child left in our home and I am ashamed to say that I mistakenly believed that he was well on his way and no longer needed me.  He is only 17 years old and he actually needs me more than either of the 2 older boys ever did!  Long story short, after 4 very trying and complicated months, the Lord has found a way to get me back in the home full time again!  I can't believe that he had to actually allow me to develop so much anxiety inside me that I literally had to quit working in order for me to see what was staring me right in the face.  I'm not done yet!  I still have a 17 year old young man who is still finding out who he is and what he wants out of his life!  I am so thankful to matter enough to my Father in Heaven and to be known so well by him that he would disrupt my life to the point that I was forced to stop and take a look at what I was doing and how i was neglecting my most important role in this life "MOTHER".

I love my life!  I have been so blessed.  Mostly by the trials and challenges that I have faced and we have faced as a family.  We don't have  a lot. We never have and probably never will at least not monetarily.  However, we are so rich with the goodness of the gospel.  Which is more important than all the money in the world.  I love my Heavenly Father so much!  I love my Family more than words can express and I'm grateful to be reminded that I'm not done yet!

It's been far too long!

Okay, so I know it's been far too long since I last updated this blog.  But I am just now settling down from the previous year.  So, much happened last year and of course Stephen has been on his mission for 7 months now!  So, maybe I should get caught up.

Of course Christmas came and went.  Michael and Megan spent it here in Utah with us.  They really wanted to just be home with the family so we cancelled all of our other plans and just stayed home.  It was nice and quiet.
