For You I Will - Teddy Geiger

Here he goes again!  There's another dance coming up next weekend.  It's called "Last Chance" and it was girl's choice.  So, this cute girl that Stephen really likes asked him to go to it by making a cute video of a bunch of songs about the "last chance" and last dance".  So, today Stephen has left for school in his new suit and tie and 2 long stemmed roses, to answer her.  One rose will be waiting for her on a music stand at the entrance of her classroom with a note with her name on it.  Then as she sits down he will enter with the other one and he will hand it to her and sing this song as his friend plays the music on his guitar!  Stephen is the craziest teenage boy I know and I love it!

I sent him to school with my camera so a friend could record it for me.  Cross your fingers that it turns out good and I will post it later!

Sheet Rock!

Yesterday the sheetrock was delievered!
I am so excited to see the inside walls actually covered with something!

Here is some of the sheetrock being put into the house.

Mike had the day off and so he spent the day working on the garage before he got called about starting another Superintendent project for Miller.
 He's excited!

Here's a view of the house from the road (Theresa).

The craziest and funnest week of the year....so far!

(Beware of a very longgggg and picture fillllllled post!)

MONDAY 4/18
Sophia flew in on Monday for her Spring Break!  We were so happy to have her back home with us!  She is always a welcome visitor!

TUESDAY 4/19
On Tuesday we went to J Dawgs in Provo (best dawgs in Utah) for lunch.
Then we went dress shopping at DI! ( One of Stephen's friends invited Sophia to Prom with him.) We had a blast and of course she looks good in anything...that girl!! But nothing was perfect...even though the boys liked the maroon one best!
(the first one that fit her perfectly)

WEDNESDAY 4/20
On Wednesday evening we had a special visit from the Hogges of course.
We were so happy to see our Adam again!  Home from his mission!
We had a yummy mexican dinner and
Sophia taught Becca to make her cute cupcakes.
We had a great time with the Hogges as always.

THURSDAY 4/21
On Thursday we tried a Chinese Restaraunt in Provo!  It was so good and we ate so much that Sophia had to lay down and take a nap aftewards...right there!
Then we went and did more shopping...
Then I left to go to the temple with my niece Brittany and Mike and the kids went to the High School talent show that Stephen was in...(I'm still trying to get pictures?)

That night we had a last minute visit from Christin Kirschman (my first daughter).
Her brother was graduating from BYU on Friday morning and she didnt want to drive all the way down here from Ogden so early on Friday morning so she came and spent the night with us Thursday night.  She is about 5 months pregnant with 4 kids but she got to come by herself.  So we stayed up til about 12:30 talking and eating chips and salsa.
I love Christin...wish she could have stayed longer!

FRIDAY 4/22
On Friday, after all that shopping for a dress.  Sophia decided to wear the dress she brought...but it needed some important additions! So, we spent the morning adjusting her dress. And when we were finally satisfied with it we celebrated by...

going to Los 3 Amigos for lunch!  Another delicious and filling meal!
Sophia and I decided that whenever she comes we will eat at a new restaraunt each time we eat out...instead of eating at the same eating places we always go to...it just made it more fun, interesting and exciting!
On Friday night I recieved a knock on my front door and the 2 teenagers in this picture asked me if I was Lisa Stephenson and then they pulled my leg about wanting to know about my family history...and then they asked me if I had any connections to Chicago Illinois.  This really got me and so I finally asked them who they were and when I heard the last name (DeFigueiredo) I knew immediately who they were! What an emotional, and happy surprise to see Denis again and to meet his beautiful wife and family!
Now that had to be the best surprise all year!!
SATURDAY 4/23

On Saturday after cleaning the house, watching the kids goof around and making this delicious cake...
The kids got all dressed and ready for Prom!

Aren't they all beautiful???
Here's the crazy group that they went with.
Needless to say...they had a blast!

After the kids left for the Prom we gathered around our livingroom as Mike's brother Jerry and his wife Rhea blessed their new little girl Kelani. There were about 50 relatives there to celebrate this wonderful occassion with us.

It was such a neat event for all of us.  We had relatives from both sides of Mike's family there to participate.  It was an awesome experinece!
When the kids came home that night they came into our bedroom and woke us up to tell us that Stephen had won the contest they had at an after Prom party at his friends house. He was crowned the "Biggest Egg Head"...surprise, surprise..
Sophia said she had so much fun she didnt want to take her dress off because she didnt want it to end.  They both had a fabulous time!
SUNDAY 4/24

On Sunday I came home after Sacrament meeting with Stephen and Sophia because they were exhausted from the late night they had the night before.
When Bryce and Mike got home we ate and laughed and goofed until it was time to take Sophia to the airport:(
It was a crazy and WONDERFUL week!
We are so blessed with such awesome family and friends!
Love Em' All!!
