It's been since I think February that our TV decided to stop working and we decided we didnt really need it anyway. There was always a baseball game or something else going on and really, what is worth watching on TV these days anyway? We do have a small tv that we use to watch dvd's on, but since summer started the kids have been watching some dvd's during the day so we've been trying to stay away from them at night.
So, we've been doing a lot of this! And boy, oh boy are we having fun! We learned a couple of very fun card games this spring one is called Egyptian Ratscrew
and the other is Nertz and now we are hooked! Both are very fun games! Another very fun game is things

I just have to say.....I LOVE THIS BLOG! Thank you for doing it and putting time into it. I never could do this...I tried. I also wanted to say...that its funny how people want this bit tv's. When we came down to visit a few weeks ago and all of us gathered around your little tv to watch a movie...no one felt like it was too small or anything...it was perfect. I have found that taking things that seem to matter out of your life is possible and everyone just adjusts. Less is best! Playing games is sooo fun! Thanks for all the suggestions.
