Michael William Nelson was born on February 19, 1990. He has been my buddy and my friend ever since. Michael has always been a great kid with a big heart and it shows in the choices he has made in his life. He was called to serve in the Sydney North Australia Mission in February of 2009. He entered the MTC on June 17, 2009. Michael enjoys singing and playing the guitar and has written many of his own songs. He also loves to play basketball and played in both middle and high school. He spent 4 years performing in the Elk Grove Musical Theatre Company where he played such characters as the "Pirate King" in "The Pirates of Penzance", "Pharoh" in "Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Percheck" in "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Curly" in "Oaklahoma". What fun it was thru his high school years! We miss him like crazy, but are so very proud of the young man he has become.
